Party Time with Michael in Boston

Fishes at Japanese Food Place

More camp stuff today. We had them doing juggling and clowning. At the end of the class we told all the kids to think of the top two things they want to do. We're going to pick one of those for them to do. They will also be part of an acro group act. We're hoping that their first picks will sort them out evenly into groups but we'll see. They were so excited that they started shouting out what they wanted to do. But I told them to hold off! Down boy, down!

Japanese Food Alley!

Naomi and I went back to that cool Asian market place but this time she took me to this little alley in the mall that I didn't see last time. It was a cool little hallway of Japanese restaurants that were all open to each other. It was like a little market. So cool! We got food at this one place and had a really good time. There was a ramen place that was really packed! I'd love to go there someday so hopefully we will. All the signs had little oragami swans on top of them. And the people were actually Japanese! Holy shit! haha. (If you notice, most people who run Japanese restaurants in America are Chinese. Population wise, there aren't enough Japanese in the US to run all the Japanese restaurants that exist lol).

Nikki and Michael

I talked with my friend Michael, who lives in Boston, later in the day and he invited me out with his friends. I thought it'd be great to see Boston and hang out with Michael so I of course agreed. Before I left though, Naomi's roommate Liza was watching the finale of So You Think You Can Dance. Richard had watched some of it when we were in Las Vegas and I had oddly seen some footage earlier that day on youtube but other than that I had no idea what was going. It was nice getting to watch it with Liza because she is a dancer. But before it was over I had to leave!

Michael told me to meet him on a street off of Mass Ave and then we'd walk. When I got there it was so hard to park! I found Michael, parked illegally and him and his friend Nikki both got in my car with me to find a spot. They were "pre-gaming" it and he left the bottle in my car so that I'd have to come see him next Wednesday and return it to him. He wants me to visit his gym and train. Sounds pretty cool.

Club Cafe Barrrr

Nikki was pretty awesome. She was a very outspoken Italian gymnastics coach who dressed skimpy and had a crazy attitude. She was all sorts of fun. We went to this place called, uh, something (I forgot). It was for one of Michael's friend's birthday. While we were there we started hanging out with this guy named John who was really cool as well. It got boring after a while so Michael wanted to go to a place called Club Cafe (a gay bar). We got there and they all had some drinks. Michael ran into some drama at the bar when this really effeminate black man brushed by him and started talking random crap to Michael. It was pretty funny. It lasted for a while too.

Total Whore with Booty Shorts, Tramp Stamp and Everything
Very Nice!

When that was over we tried to find this place called "Felt" where Nikki's uh, "lover" was going to be. We had to walk quite a ways, ask directions, walk some more and then BAM! We found it. It was a swanky little club. We had to go to the 4th floor where the club was. It was "invite only" so her "friend" came down and let us all in...after I had to pay $10 boo =( When we got up there it was really loud but fun looking. There were a bunch of whores dancing in cages and a bunch of drunken guys bobbing their heads and staring at the caged women. haha so funny.

More of Michael and Nikki's friends were there but everyone was getting really drunk and it was around midnight when we got there. That's about the time of night I check out. Also the music was so loud that I couldn't talk with people. I don't mind going to bars and clubs if I can still talk but if I can't hear or I have to yell then I loose interest in the place. I was also really tired. Everyone was drinking and dancing but I just sat there like a bump on a log cause I didn't want to do either. Michael felt bad but he didn't need to, it just wasn't my scene. I had SUCH A GOOD TIME before that though.

Around 1:30 Michael and John decided to go and get Michael's car to bring it closer to the club and to take me back. It was pouring outside though! We ducked into a pizza place and Michael and I got some grub mmm food. Then we got a cab because it was really starting to rain. As soon as we left the club though I had a good time again! Woot. When I got to my car I bolted it home, saw Naomi, chatted for a while then went to bed.
