My Mom Has the Coolest Kitchen Shit
I slept SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WELL last night! My bed at home is the best bed in the world. Too bad it's only a twin! I felt like it was so small because I've been sleeping on Fulls and Queens. Anyway, I got up and my Uncle Steve was leaving for PA. My Mom had fresh pineapple for breakfast. She has this awesome gadget that makes pineapple rings right from the pineapple. Check out the picture! Super cool.

Our Friendly Neighborhood Bat
So today was the beginning of my realization of how much being home was going to be tough. My Dad was already telling me all sorts of jobs to do and I had to tell him right off the bat that I was there to help them but I wasn't at his beck and call. Jeesh! It's also kind of hard to understand him because he mixes words up and forgets a lot. We basically have to play my new favorite game "guess what Dad's saying" all the time.

Our Dryer Doesn't Work =/
Anyway, my Uncle on my Dad's side came over later that morning to put up a second railing on our stairway to the house. He also helped me jump start our van which has been sitting in our garage for about a month now without being used. I started to do some laundry but the dryer doesn't work so I had to hang things outside. How delightfully rural. While I was doing laundry the sink overflowed so I had to clean that up to. I was helping my Mom all day with my Dad and doing stuff all around the house. The best part of the day was "hosing out the bats." My Dad was freaking that there was a bat in the shutters near the door so I had to spray it out. I did so and it flew away. There was another one...much larger... over the garage so I got rid of him to. Luckily I was saved when Bobby came and picked me up at 3. Whew!
Then we went to Amy's! Yay! I was so wonderfully surprised to see Carrie Anne when I got there! I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to see her but I did! She was doing really well and looked great! I got to see Amy, Bobby, CA, Monika, Amy's Mom, Amy's Dad and Amy's brother! Fun times all around! We all hung out and had a great time together! We even played Wii! Amy's mom recently got it. She has the coolest parent ever...even if Amy doesn't agree =P

Oh, Monika
We also got to go swimming which was really nice. Amy has an awesome party house. Her parents recently got a hot tub too and I was so excited about it but they recently made a rule that guests couldn't use it =( Big sadness! My back was very disappointed. Then the main event! We got to cut Bobby's hair. He actually trusted Amy, Monika and CA to cut his hair (sort of, he did have an appointment tomorrow just in case). They were doing well...I guess. The back and one side looked ok. I'm not saying anything about the right side of his head though. Poor Bobby. Overall, a very nice night.

Hmm. Let's try that again. . .
GASP!!!
That pineapple is amazing.
I will now break a commandment and covet the gadget that did that.
:0
(I am thinking that the commandment only applies to neighbor's wives, not friend's mothers' kitchen gadgets, but coveting is coveting.)
