I Have a Place to Live!

My New Place!

Today was the day for my date with Ed to Northampton. I met up with him at his place at around 11am and I parked my car in the municipal lot near his building (this become important later). Then we took off! Clear weather and lots of sun! Go figure, I don't drive and there's no rain haha. Oh well. Ed and I had a lot of time to bond and we highly enjoyed our time together (or at least I did. I can't really speak for Ed =P ). Oddly enough, Amanda called while we were driving. She passed her Personal Trainer exam so now she's officially certified! I have been wanting to get certified too for a while so now she's inspired me. She said she'd even give me her study guide. Oh joy! ^_^

Ed Enjoying His Smoothie at the Middle Eastern Place

We went straight to this apartment that I was looking at renting with Colleen to hand in my application. When I got there the landlady, Lee, said Colleen sent hers in already and that she had been approved for the place. She said she'd look over mine, call my references, and if it all checked out she'd call me that night with whether or not we'd get the place. I'm was so excited because that place is beautiful in cheap! The only issue is that we need three people to cover the rent and the move in costs. We asked our friend Erin to move in and she seemed to be on board but she hadn't committed yet. I hope she calls soon and lets us know. Lee was so nice and I love her and her partner that live in the upstairs. I can't wait for my own place!!!!!!!!! Especially with Colleen and her dog! ^_^

Homemade Northampton Ice Cream!

After that Ed and I drove to downtown Northampton and started to walk around to find a place to eat. We were going to go to the HayMarket Cafe but we kept on walking because I wanted to try something new. We went to this place that served cool Mediterranean food. I got a pita pocket that was quite delicious (sorry folks, no picture of that lol). Oh and to back track a second... we were walking down the street and I was telling Ed about the gay population in Northampton when we walked by this older gentleman who was a little over weight and in a full on purple velvet suit. He was so flamboyant and he was talking about the gay population as well. I immediately stopped talking, moved on and laughed haha. Funny shit.

Leonard Nimoy's Large Women Art

Then, at Ed's request, we went to find ice cream. We didn't know where it was but I saw someone walking towards us with a new thing of ice cream on a cone and I"m like "follow that cone! Ice cream must be near!" haha. And low and behold there was a store. We went in and got some ice cream and sat outside in the shade on the steps. While we were sitting there we noticed a museum across the street that said "Leonard Nimoy" on it. We're both like "NO WAY!" and bolted it for the museum. We followed the signs and got into this "vault" area where Leonard Nimoy's work was. He basically photographed a bunch of large naked woman that simulated other famous works of art. Interesting stuff.

Little Boy with Toys

When Ed and I got home I had a ticket on my car! My meter had run out! BAH! I hate Brattleboro! Grar! Then I went and picked up Christopher and we went to Keene to hang out because he hadn't been there yet. We traveled around Target, got some Starbucks and walked around Circuit City and Borders. Then Christopher was hungry (OMG!) so we went to Applebees. They had some nasty food for me but he ate a lot so that was good. On our way home I got a call from Lee who said the place was ours if we wanted it! I said yes and she said she'd send us the lease via email. Woot! I'm so excited!
