Bye Naomi's Place!
Today was the show! We got there nice and early and started setting everything up. We put up name tags so the kids knew where to sit when they weren't performing. Naomi and I had made a great CD of circus music (mainly accordion based) the night before so we were all set! Naomi's friend Bonnie came early too (she's the one who leant us the trapeze). She was super cool and it was nice to meet her.
It hit two oclock but the kids didn't get there until 2:10! The show was at 2:30 and we still had to warm them up and go through the show order! AGH! My plan was a little complicated so it took a while for the other counselors to understand it and the kids were totally lost. We tried to make it work. Parents started to come in early and I was going nuts! But it was OK! haha. We made the kids sit down and Naomi and I opened the show. There were oddly, a large amount of parents there for an afternoon show.
The show went really well. All the kids did their tricks and my system actually worked out pretty well! Woot! Hyejung (my Korean girl) did a Susan on the trapeze all by herself! Crazy! At the end they all bowed, I closed the show and they all left! The parents loved it and I gave out a few of my business cards. I shuffled around as quick as I could to clean up and leave. We derigged, put the mats away and took everything out to the car. I was going to try and beat rush hour traffic but by the time we got home and took off it was a little before 5pm. We didn't hit a lot of traffic but guess what I went through!? A storm!! Ugh. Lots of rain and thunder and lightening again. No surprise there. Oh yeah, and Naomi came with me and went through my iTunes library on the way there.
We got to Brattleboro in good time and I dropped Naomi off at her friends place. I called Christopher to hang out as I drove by him at the park. Woolley was busy until 9:30 that night so I didn't end up hanging out with him because I had to go to Amanda's at 9. Christopher and I hung out at the park for a bit then went to Friendly's for dinner. I had a mint chocolate chip smoothie and a grilled cheese with tomato. When I got my grilled cheese it was chopped up like I had ordered from the senior menu lol. And there was so much extra in the milkshake that I ended up having 3 glasses full! Awesome.

Amanda and Erin Yay!
Then I dropped him off and went over to Amanda's place. It was nice to see Ed and Amanda again. They are such awesome people. But this time I learned and I didn't touch their cats with my hands! Allergies ick! Then Erin came and it was awesome! We had a great little reunion. So we all chatted and caught up and talked about housing stuff. Later that night, for some odd reason, Woolley walked all the way over to Amanda's place from NEYT while he was talking to Erin. Kinda weird but Erin went down and talked to him about things they had going on and left.
Amanda and Ed Have Another Pet Now
The three of us hung out for a bit longer then we headed off to bed. My allergies started to kick up again so Amanda gave me some Clariton which helped me so much! I fell asleep after the cats jumped on me a few times and slept soooo well. Only one more trip to go before I get to stop driving!
