There Shouldn't Be This Many People at 5AM
Way to early. Way to early. Those were the two thoughts going through my head when I woke up at 4am so I could get to the airport by 5am. Luckily, my sister got to share in the fun with me! haha. Got to the airport and while I was expecting no one there, it was SOO busy! According to the guy behind me in the security line, Rochester only flies out in the AM because there are no direct flights so you have to leave early so you can connect to another flight. I thought I wasn't going to make my 6am flight! I was nervous for sure but the line went through pretty fast and I made it just in time (with some dunkin donuts along the way!)
Delicious Veggie Burger Place
Got into JFK and uh, I really don't like that airport. It's old and gross and very very packed with people. I took Jetblue and I really liked the airplane because there was a TV for every seat and we got about 32 channels of cable for free! I could watch Comedy Central and Travel Channel all the way there. Very nice!
Steep Streets in San Francisco
Got into San Francisco around 11:30am San Fran time, and made my way to the Bart. I was going to be following Dwoira's instructions from a text message so I was a little wary. Got off Bart and hopped on Muni. That's when the trouble set in. She told me when I should get off but I didn't know what that stop looked like. So when I thought I went further than I should I randomly got off the bus. Tried to call Dwoira but couldn't get her. So I went towards the Starbucks I had seen to look up directions on the internet. But on my way there I found this nice little place called Good Earth Cuisine. I stopped in to get a veggie burger and use their free wireless! =D The burger was so freaking good. Then Dwoira called me and told me how to get to the circus center. I went by the one street and got a little lost again but after asking a guy in a store I ran into the circus center!
CIRCUS CENTER!
Got to see Dwoira and see the circus center! What fun! I was introduced to a bunch of different people and got to stretch. Oh man, I was able to stretch! My back was feeling really great which was nice. Dwoira told me that everyone liked me so that was good. She had to teach flying trapeze for about 3 hours so I ended up hanging out in the "audience" area and reading/being on my computer. I really liked the gym and everyone was pretty nice! I also saw a ton of people working on contortion stuff! How great! =D
Dwoira Pulling Lines
After circus center, Dwoira and I head over to this cool natural food store for some dinner. Then I got to experience the grandness of taking the Muni to somewhere far away. We were going to a rehearsal for Vau De Vire. Dwoira is going with them to NY for a bunch of gigs so they had to run through some stuff. Met a lot of people there and had a good time watching them rehearse. Both of us were really tired by the end though and the group was basically just talking so we tried to get out as soon as we could. Luckily we got a ride back with a girl named Shredder. Slept at Dwoira's place with her crazy roommates who don't talk to her, never have and probably never will (unless they're trash talking her for no reason). Poor Dwoira! I hope she moves out soon! I slept like a log. And that's a fact!
