Last Day in Brattleboro

Peekaboo Ruby!

Today was actually really good and productive. I packed up all of my stuff in the morning and got Erin's place back to normal. I filled out my paperwork for a camp I'm teaching in August and I sent out some bills (including my stupid speeding ticket >_< ).  I managed to fit everything I own into my car with the exception of my bed and bedding which Woolley was kind enough to store for me while I'm away. I thought about training but meh, whatever =P

Jon's a Natural

The day was full of fooling Amanda because it was her birthday and Ed was planning a surprise party for her. Unfortunately for Ed, I told her a story that we hadn't discussed previously so Ed ended up looking like a big asshole (which ended up being ok because Amanda didn't think we planned anything). We walked to Fireworks where Danny, Deena, Ruby, Henry, Liz and Jon were waiting for us (Woolley was there too for a bit). We had a great dinner and discussed so many fun things. It was also Jon's birthday but he didn't want us to make a big deal out of it so we didn't (I did give him a card though...with a dead clown on it hehe).

Talking with Henry made me think a little more about coming back to Brattleboro to train after I'm done in August. Maybe I'll move to Massachusetts near somewhere fun but still be able to take lessons at the studio. We discussed getting our own warehouse space to train which would be marvelous. I'm highly considering getting a place of my own to train..but we'll see. If I lived in Mass I'd be a little closer to NYC (and Baltimore ^^ ) which would work out for some gigs I guess but we'll see. 

Amanda Likes Creamies... Maybe Too Much...

Afterwards we went to the Chelsea Royal Diner for creamies (Amanda's favorite). It was raining outside so we all went inside. We had to memorize what we wanted because they didn't have menus for ice cream inside. The waitress was hesitant to serve us but thank God she did... and all she did was drip ice cream on Ruby while she slept. =/

Yeah Celebrity Circus Criticism Team!

The best part of the night was CELEBRITY CIRCUS at Suzanne's place!!! It consisted of Caroline (I spelled her name right this time!), Suzanne, Amanda, Ed, Britta, Jon, Adam, some guy from apartment 4 (I forgot his name... Paul maybe?) and myself. 

So as for celebrity circus... a) it seemed like the judges weren't allowed to say anything negative. Aurelia looked like she was choking back some criticism at points b) Stacy Dash missed the bar like, 3 times in the beginning of her bungee act but the judges gave her praise for still performing through it.. which I guess is legitimate but they should have said something about that. c) Wee Man sucked balls.. I thought the poor guy was going to be ripped in half when he was in the air on the straps d) Antonio did another stupid "flying silks" act. He was supposed to be more 'emotional' and 'connect' with his partner but she freaking caressed his face and he just brushed by her wrapping his arms up... meh. e) A section of a juggler doing 21 pirouettes to break a world record while juggling 5 clubs? Ugh...  But overall enjoyable to watch ^_^

I'm totally going to miss these guys. But hey, looks like my plans change just about every hour so I may be back sooner than I thought =P
