haha. KaTs R fUnnY
Monday, Monday, Monday. A pretty straight forward and easy day. Did my morning ritual of sleeping in, being on my computer and cleaning myself. Naomi worked at her other camp from home with the other counselor she's doing it with. In reality, I didn't do anything this morning =P
Camp was cool. We told the kids what apparatus/act they were doing for the show. We split them into aerials for one group and juggling/clowning for the other group. Trapeze went very well. I taught the kids four new tricks which was great! The only one they didn't seem to like was the lean-out. haha. It's not the safest feeling move, that's for sure! This one kid, Anwar, kept squatting down when I told him to straighten his arms and lean out. It was really interesting. He never did get it =/
Then we had A.D.D. time...I mean juggling. It was kinda crazy ape shit for the whole hour. I had them thinking about what they wanted to do for the show and I tried to get them to do new things but some kids just did their own thing.
Near the end of the juggling stuff the kids were getting way out of control so we had them sit down and show everyone what they were working on. That kinda freaked some of them out which was great because that meant they started paying attention ^_^ Everyone went up and did something and it was really awesome. The clowning bit is really funny. The little kid Nicolas who plays a mischievous little kid (which he is) is so freaking hilarious. Dongheung, the little Korean kid was great too! He did a little sequence which consisted of a forced sun, full sun, reverse sun and a toss & catch! He rockzors.

I Can't Believe I Ate the Whole Thing!
THEN THE BEST THING EVER HAPPENED TO ME! I went to the ramen place in that little Japanese Market I had eaten at a few days ago with Naomi. No one was there at the really busy ramen stand so we went. I got a veggie/tofu ramen with soy sauce veggie broth. Naomi got a chicken and miso broth with butter! Yeah, they actually put a big cube of butter right on top of the noodles and it melted into the broth. Very interesting! I didn't taste it because it had meat but she said it was very rich and made the broth very creamy. It was so much food. If you look at the picture I put my hand in for scale. Took me a good 30 minutes to finish the whole thing but I downed it! Naomi was impressed as she ate about half of hers. So yummy!
And yes, I realize I talk a lot about food. It's my favorite thing!
After that I didn't do much but chill all night and watch some old Charlie Chaplin movies with Naomi. Good times.
