Packing for Another Journey!

Waiting for Mother

Today was another uneventful day, but it was my last here in Binghamton before I leave tomorrow to go to my new place in Massachusetts! How exciting. I spent the majority of the day packing my car and getting ready. Poor Brodie was waiting at the door a lot for Carrie to come back for him. He's so dependent on her it's ridiculous lol. I'm totally upset though because the check I was supposed to get from my summer camp hasn't come yet. I was supposed to get it last Wednesday but I hadn't. I heard back from the woman in charge and apparently they are going to be sent out on Tuesday (because of the labor day holiday). Stupid holiday. Anyway, that means I have to borrow money from my parents to move into my new place. Gross. Anyway, I left them a check for the amount and when my Mom receives the other one she'll deposit that then cash my check. Wow. What a mess.

Ken and Alex and Antiques! Oh Yeah!

The Place of Doom for My Car

I had a car appointment early this morning to get my check engine light looked at. Luckily Ken lives right down the road from the Midas I took it to so he picked me up and we went to this little grocery store down the street. It was basically like a Dottie's Discount Foods but much, much bigger. It had all sorts of stuff and instead of being a trendy little place like Dottie's, it was a haven for uh, the bottom of the barrel lol. Interesting place for sure. I've never seen such large quantities of discount food in my life. Some of it was pretty nasty.

Cool Art in Binghamton

After that we were walking around trying to find a place to eat when I got a call from Midas. Basically they don't know exactly why my light is on but it could be this tube that goes to my gas tank. They did the smoke test and couldn't see it, but they could smell it. So basically there is a tiny hole that they can't find somewhere in there. My car is also a little louder because the front part of my exhaust system that was welded to the frame is now off. I asked the guy if I could get by without it for the next year or two and he said yes. So basically, if I have a lot of money to blow on my car, I'll get it done but if not, then I'll have to live with it for now =/

Crepe Heaven!

I decided to see if I could kill two birds with one stone so I called Alex to ask her if she wanted to go out for lunch with Ken and I. Luckily she did and we went to this new place in Binghamton called Crepe Heaven. It was a great little place that was reasonably priced. I had pomegranate tea with a pizza crepe. Yum! It was great to catch up with Alex and hear about what was going on with her life. Seems pretty crazy like usual =D

We Are Wearing the Same Pants and Shirt *weird*

Afterwards we decided to go antique shopping for some reason. I had never been to "antique row" in Binghamton so it was an interesting experience. We went to this place called The Mad Hatter Antiques. It was a fancy store full of furniture that I would love to own! It had old Victorian stuff and downstairs there was a bunch of 1950, 1960 and 1970 style furniture. Neato. Before we went in we saw 3 hummers parked right in a row in front of a church. haha. Man, I do hate hummers.

God Loves a Hummer

We went to a few other stores and looked around at stuff. Alex bought more VHS and records. She's such a dork lol. I'm glad she likes her antiquated media. Afterwards we hung out in Alex's place and called Nikki who we haven't talked to in forever. She's still living at home and not doing anything with her life. She did move to the South West which is exciting. Poor girl has moved so much in her life =/ She should move back to the North East and live near one of us so that she can do things. I played with Alex's awesome cat and then took off for home.

The Cat that Hugs But Does Not Claw

That night I met up with Amy, Jen and Aaron at Denny's after Amy got off from work. She had to sign the lease for our apartment and give me her deposit so I could bring it up with me to Massachusetts when I leave this Monday. It was great seeing Jen and Aaron. It seems like they have been dating forever. Oh, and by the way, Aaron is Amy's brother. Just to clarify. Unfortunately for Amy, all three of us play World of Warcraft and had a huge dorky conversation about it. Aaron is obsessed with it..unhealthily at one point. Jen does quite a bit of gaming as well. Aaron was even wearing a World of Warcraft shirt haha. Funny. It was a good dinner and then we parted ways... Jen and Aaron with each other, myself with $1000 of Amy's money and Amy...with a sense of losing $1000 =)

Jen and Aaron

When I got home, Brodie was there with my parents. My sister had dropped him off so that she could go down to the city and see her brother in law's new kid. Lucky for me, I got to sleep with the little runt because my Mom didn't want him in her bed. I didn't sleep very well because I'm not used to sleeping with a dog next to me =/

My First Contortion Workshop - Day 2

Helping Vanessa with Her Split Back Bend

Nothing much happened today until later in the night when I did the second part of my contortion workshop at Lighthouse Dance Studio. It was a lot of fun because there were a lot more girls then before. Vanessa was there, which is great because she is apparently thinking about doing this professionally so I was interested to see how she would work and what level she was at. Generally all the girls are really young still but they were still easy to work with.

The Group

We worked on a lot of the same things we did before. I helped them with crocodiles on canes, push ups, straight handstands against the wall, ab/core workout routines, conditioning, various versions of backbend splits, over splits and some partnering stuff. A few of the girls actually got their snap dragons too which was uber exciting for everyone. At the end they all did some tumbling things. One girl was very good on her hands and I spotted her in some one arm practice. She was very straight and had good engagement. Apparently she just started at Lighthouse which was really awesome. She'll will go a long way if she keeps everything up.

Contortion Group Picture

We took some group pictures at the end and that was basically it. It was great hanging out with Charity and the girls. I finally got into my groove with teaching and Charity said I was a really good teacher and that she'd give me a recommendation any time. Awesome! I hope to teach more contortion in the future because I love working with people on these skills. It's amazingly rewarding for me too when they get something.

Rock Me, Sexy Jesus.

Maureen and Her Mother

Today had great promise to be an amazing day. And it surely did live up to that. It started early with a hair cut for my Dad. I visited my old hair dresser that my parents still go to, Maureen. She's really great and runs a very successful salon out of her house. It was great to see her again. For some reason I had a really bad case of deja vu when I saw her. It was her voice. I think I know someone who has a similar voice to her or else I was just remembering her. Huh. Anyway, it was good to see her again.

Fresh, Like Your Mom.

My mother brought home corn for dinner and it was delicious! I hadn't had fresh corn in such a long time. She said when she picked it up it was still warm from the fields where it had just been harvested. Yeah, now that's what I'm talking about!

The Boob Shot Was an Accident...

So there was some drama between Monika and Bobby and I today lol. I told Monika earlier that we would go out to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner today. However, I was running a little low in the cash department so I decided not to. Apparently she told this to Bobby and Bobby's like, "well I'm a better friend then Chris, so I'll go with you." When Bobby told me this I freaked out and invited myself to go with them haha. Monika thought it was hilarious and Bobby thought I was retarded... which I might actually be. Anyway, Moe picked me up and we met Bobby there. We basically just got appetizers and dessert because we had all eaten. Our poor waitress =P

Heaven. Pure Heaven.

Of course, we got a Bloomin' Onion which was pretty OK. I'm not a huge fan of the fried onion business but it was still good. It was smaller than I remember it being. Then I got what I came for! Their Outback Sundae thing! OMG it's the best dessert ever and I'm totally in love with it. It's vanilla ice cream coated in toasted coconut with slices of fresh strawberries, whipped cream and a chocolate sauce. *drooooooool* It's my favorite thing ever (and one of the only things I can eat at the Outback haha). We all shared it and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience of eating it. Mmmm.

I Want to Own This.

Then, to kill some time before seeing Hamlet 2 (which we were supposed to see last Friday but it didn't get released nationwide until today..bastards) we went to PetSmart. There were tons of dogs in there which was fun but we went over and had a looksy at the cats. OK so I think I"m pretty much notorious for disliking cats, but since I've been around so many of them lately I've actually started to like them. There was one cat in the display case that was SO AWESOME. He's the one I took a picture of above. I wish I could have taken him home with me. It's too bad I"m semi allergic to some cats. If I got one it would be a Russian Roulette. Oh well.

Yeaaaaah

Then came le piece de resistance! HAMLET 2! I feel like I"ve been waiting for this movie forever! So funny story before the movie happened... There was this dude walking through our theater with popcorn and soda on a cart for sale. No one was there, which was crazy because I thought this would be uber popular with the college age group. So the guy had nothing to do so we just talked with him for a while. He mentioned that he could get one of his managers to bring us in fresh soda (which he found clever) so Amy ordered Sprite (I think) and Bobby wanted some Fruit Punch with Sprite in it so the guy ordered a Sprite and a sample cup of Fruit Punch. Then to our disbelief, Richard Wade (he graduated a year ahead of us in high school) walked in with the drinks. We knew he still worked there but hadn't seen him early. It was kinda like "oh, yeah hey there." haha. So we did a little catching up and joked around until the movie started.

*Rock Me, Rock Me, Rock Me Sexy Jesus!*

The movie was pretty great. There were a few things that were too stupid to be actually funny but the majority of the movie was enjoyable. The play, Hamlet 2, at the end was the best part. It has a ton of great songs like Rock Me Sexy Jesus, You're as Gay as the Day is Long and Raped in the Face. We all had a wonderful time.

My First Contortion Workshop - Day 1

Can You Say Teaching Promo Shot?! I Can!

So I had been asked by Charity, my former dance teacher, to come help teach her contortion workshop on Tuesday (today) and Thursday. It was a two hour long workshop and she wanted me to come and share any new ideas or training techniques I had and because the kids might do better with me teaching because I was someone new and they would want to impress me haha. So I agreed. After taking care of my Dad all day I drove to Lighthouse Dance Studio in Binghamton and arrived there around 5:30PM. There were only a few girls this time around because a lot of them couldn't make it until Thursday. They went through their warm ups and Charity basically handed them over to me which was great but I wasn't really prepared to take on the whole class.

Working on the Mirror Trick

It ended up being a lot of fun. I tried to work them as hard as I could without getting too crazy on the first day. I would have pushed them further but I wanted to get a feel for how the group worked. Generally they are really flexible girls with not a whole lot of strength to support their bends or balance for handstands and the like. So I tried to impress on them the importance of core work for contortion and did a lot of handstand conditioning stuff. We also worked on canes, snap dragons (where the feet are snapped behind the arm pits), standing balance poses, oversplits, active flexibility work, contortion push ups and various other stretching things. A lot of them were imbalanced. One side was much more flexible then the other so I tried to get them to work the other side. It was a very interesting group to work with but I really liked teaching everything. It took me a while to get into the lingo of teaching contortion because I had never verbalized it before. That came quickly and I can totally see myself doing this when I'm older. I love it.

Groovin' At the Cyber Cafe

After it was done Charity and I went out to the Cyber Cafe to get a quick bite to eat. We caught up a little more and listened to a cool blue grass band. Then I drove her home and went home myself! A fun end to this day for sure.

Wait, Hold On. I'm going to New Jersey Today?

Hasidic Rest Stop

Today began week two of me taking care of my father. We had an appointment early in the morning which went fine. So one of my Dad's old coworkers got my Dad interested in this man named Roland who lives in New Jersey. He's a licensed medical doctor but mainly does energy healings and uses a lot of herbs and vitamins for therapy and treatments instead of drugs. So he called us last night to see how my Dad was and told my Mom that he was going down to Jersey tomorrow for an appointment. He ended up giving up his appointment for my Dad and offered to drive. Luckily he got another appointment right afterward. So this meant that I had to travel down to New Jersey with my father. Ugh! I was so sick of traveling and New Jersey? Really? I was hoping to never enter that state after my sister moved out of it. Oh well. Suck it up, Chris.

Hello, Mr. Tree.

The trip was relatively long. The guy who drove us, John, was a really nice guy and funny so at least that was amusing. But my Dad still has trouble speaking so I had to kind of pay attention to their conversations because all of a sudden my Dad would want me to speak for him. We made a pit stop for a bathroom break at this gas station that was run by Hasidic Jews. It was really funny. They were all dressed up in black with their curly hair thingies (I know there's a name for them but I don't feel like looking that up right now). I had to walk my Dad across the busy gas station to the bathroom and it took sooo long. That was interesting. Then we got back in and made it just in time for his appointment.

Alice in... New Jersey?

My Dad went in for his appointment and I just sat there in the lobby. It's all decked out with sayings from this guy Roland on pieces of stone and stuff. Lots of bells and water features. Kind of a strange place. I met Roland and I don't really know how I feel about the guy. He seems to have a little bit of crazy energy surrounding him. I, personally, wouldn't go to him. Anyone who quotes themselves and sells it to their clients on plaques has a little something wrong with him. So the appointment went well and an hour later we got to leave. Thank God too because I was starving.

Caesar Burger

We went to this diner that John liked to go to. It was one of those family run joints and the people were Greek (I think). I love places like this because they have HUGE menus and so much to choose from. They also had a lot of unique things such as their cantaloup dessert which was half of a cantaloup with ice cream and whipped cream in the center. Cool right? Another unique thing was the burger I ordered... It was a caesar salad burger. I obviously got a veggie burger but it also had caesar dressing, parmesan cheese and roman lettuce. It was delicious! Thinking about it now makes my mouth drool. Yummy. After that we had a nice boring trip back up to home.

Road Trip to Northampton

Brodie Didn't Like Amy

The following morning I woke up and Kevin was chatting it up with my sister. Lucky guy, got to meet my whole family haha oh boy. Anyway, yesterday Amy and I had planned on going up to Holyoke/Northampton so that she could meet our landlords and see the house. Lee, one of our landlords, said she really wanted to meet Amy before approving her for the house and this weekend was the only time we could do it. So we had an appointment for 4PM to see the place. So we left around 11am and Kevin followed us to DD for some breakfast and Mobil for some gas. Then off we went! The trip only took 3 1/2 hours from my house which is better then going to Brattleboro which is 4 hours! Nice!

Chillin at the Park in Northampton

We told Bobby about this adventure last night and we invited him to come along. Luckily for us he wanted to get out of the house and avoid his extended family so he even drove! Woot. When we got there we had a few hours to spend so we quickly drove by the house then went to Northampton for some Starbucks and hanging out time. Amy loved Northampton. She thought it was pretty awesome. Went into this store called "Faces" that had all sorts of neat modern and groovy furnishings. Can't wait to go back there once I have my place! =D Got me some chai at Starbucks and we went to the park to hang out. I was telling them how Northampton had a large lesbian population and we saw three girl couples holding hands! Awesome! The whole town has a gay vibe to it. It's really cool.

Deana & Lee
(Deana Has the Cast)

Then we went to the house and met up with Lee and Deana. We got another walk through of the house and Amy really liked it! It was nice seeing it again because the first time I went through it was just like, whoa cool neato! But now I could actually look at it and remember the answers to all my questions haha. I even picked out which room I want and so did Amy. Luckily, we want different rooms lol. That leaves Colleen with two different rooms to pick from. Amy wanted to fill out an application right then and there so Lee went upstairs to print it out. We waited outside on the porch and admired the garden. Deana told us all about the garden. She said that it came with the house and her friend said that there are $1000's of dollars worth of landscaping at the house. So awesome! Even though it's right on the street it totally feels secluded and the porch is private for us so we can hang out on it whenever we want to ^_^

Thai Garden: Northampton, MA
Good Thai Tea, Bad Pad Thai

Then all of us went out back to the picnic table and chatted while Amy filled out her application. We talked for almost 2 hours! It was crazy! We found out so much about each other. Lee and Deana are two really awesome people and I'm so happy to be renting from them. They are both really funny and personably and down to earth. We talked about everything from vegetarianism and hobbies to pets and gay culture. It was so interesting. We could have gone on forever but it was starting to get late so we had to part ways. They said they'd get back to us in a few days about Amy. *crosses fingers!*

Amy Texting Liz! The Intensity!!!

We went to Thai Garden in downtown Northampton for dinner. I got Pad Thai and it wasn't very good =/ Nothing will live up to Sak's Thai Cuisine in Rochester! Oh the memories. Anyway, then we booked it and had lots of fun on the way home. Amy and Bobby are so awesome. I was sad Monika couldn't come too but you know, she's a popular one with all her weddings heh. Got home around 10:30 I guess which was pretty good time! Stayed up and hung out with Carrie and Carl for a bit then headed to bed!

------------------

So instead of a video today I have a link for you all! Deana, one of my landlords, has a clothing line called Built Butch Tough. It's sweet clothes made for butch woman. Amazing right!? They also plan on coming out with a line of clothes for babies and pets. I love it. Anyway, here is the link to the site. Check it out!

A Social Scheduling Nightmare

The Socrates Doll I Made in 9th Grade

So this morning wasn't too bad. Took my Dad to the eye doctor. Her name is Dr. Lee and she was a cute older Chinese woman. It took a while but my Dad got his eyes checked out. After that we went home and just hung out until my sister came around 3PMish. Of course the infamous Brodie came with her in all his glory lol. So I had quite a few things to do tonight! I was meeting Jack and Christopher at 6 for dinner, Phoebe and Luke at 7 for coffee (chai in my case), Monika Bobby and Amy at 9 for a movie and much later Kevin, to crash at our place. Nutso! So here goes the interesting stuff...

Dinner is Fun!

Went over to Jack's place for the birthday dinner he was making Christopher. I could only eat the pasta but it was still yummy. I had brought a small cake that I had bought at Wegmans. I was supposed to get Christopher a pineapple upside down cake but ALAS! No such cake at the Wegman's bakery! So I called him and asked if he wanted anything else. His response was "a reese's peanut butter cup." Wow. I thought that was such a stupid request that I bought a cake and put reese's cups on top of it haha. After we ate that, Christopher wanted to eat the cheesecake that Jack had made.... I swear that boy is a hummingbird that lives off of pure sugar haha. Then it was suddenly 7 o'clock! CRAP! I bolted out of there and headed towards the Cyber Cafe!!!

Luke and Phoebe ^_^

I arrived to find my long lost friend PHOEBE and her boyfriend Luke waiting for me. I haven't seen her in about 2 years! Jesus! That's crazy! It was so nice to see her. We got some drinks (me likey chai) and sat down. We proceeded to catch up on the past few years. I was really happy to find out that Luke and Phoebe were still together. How awesome. I was telling them about my plans for the future and Luke's father actually grew up in Northampton, MA where I"m going to live! So strange! Phoebe also told me that Luke got her into cave exploring which is super cool. Apparently there are some out near Northampton/Western Mass so I told them they could stay with me whenever they wanted because I want to go exploring caves! How freaking sweet is that? I mean honestly! It was close to 9 by then so I said my goodbyes and took off for Vestal.

Nasty Sandwiches from Wal-Mart

I met Bobby and Monika at the Starbucks near NCI where Amy works. Amy met us there soon after. I actually did get another chai haha I'm a freak, I know. After chatting for a while outside we booked it over to the movie theater to see when movies were playing. We had originally planned to see Hamlet 2 but freaking A man, it doesn't come out in Binghamton until next Wednesday! Total buzz kill. Anyway, we decided to go to Pineapple Express. It wasn't for another 30 minutes so we went to Walmart to get Amy something to eat.

So Sad!

We went to Walmart and Monika and I went to look at engagement rings..for her.. from me. haha. It was funny. Amy then went and got a premade sub which looked wicked gross. When we got out to the parking lot she put mayonnaise from a tiny jar all over it. Nasty nasty nasty. Then we saw the movie! I didn't realize that Pineapple Express was mainly about pot and smoking pot haha. It would have been funnier if I smoked pot but it was still entertaining. Even the action scenes were funny because they had a sense or realism in them. I mean, people were actually getting hurt and saying what I would say if I was in a fight lol. It was a great movie. My favorite line was when the main character was smelling the "Pineapple Express" pot and said "This smells like God's vagina." haha Oh dear lord, how terrible =P By the time we got out it was 12:30 and everyone decided to go home.

Oh, We're So Clever

Now here begins the other part of this night! So this whole time my friend Kevin is headed across country from Colorado to join the next pro track group at NECCA. He was going to be in Binghamton at some point after midnight so I was trying to schedule being down in Vestal and him arriving at the same time. I thought that since he was passing Vestal anyway I could get him to the giant plaza easier than my house. Aaaanyway, when we left Vestal Kevin was still an hour or so away so I told him how to get to Castle Creek where I could then come get him and lead him to my house. It was around 1:30AM when he got to Castle Creek. He got a little lost but we finally met up. We had a full house (my sister and her husband were also there) so he had to sleep on one of our couches. That was a step up though from his car which he slept in last night! Crazy bastard haha. So we talked for a while then I went to sleep because I'm headed to MA tomorrow with Amy and Bobby! haha More about that tomorrow ^_^

Yulia Mihaylova - Contortion Act

(This chick is cool)

Early Morning, Late Night

zzzZZZzzz

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. I woke up at 7AM so I could get my Dad to his doctors appointment by 8AM. That time of the morning just doesn't work for me any more. Like, at all. I guess if I get into a groove that's ok but *grumble grumble* Anywho, he had to get a CT scan and an MRI done this morning. Went to get his CT scan downstairs (he was supposed to have blood work done there too) and they sent me upstairs to get his MRI done first. We get up there and I had to fill out paperwork I didn't know how to fill out. Called me Mom and he was supposed to get some sedatives downstairs to knock him out during his MRI. We had to bypass that because they sent us up here first. While he was doing that I fell asleep (see above).

The Colors, Duke! The Colors!

After that we went back downstairs and he had his CT scan done which took a bit longer then the MRI. However one of the nurses came out and told me I had to sign a consent form for him because of something to do with them giving him a sedative before. I told them they didn't and she's like "well it's down here that he did." I was all kinds of confused but I was just like, uh ok and signed the paper. Ick. Then we took off. Of course he didn't tell me he had to pee until we got into the car. I had to speed home so he could go. Geez. The excitement.

Arrrg!

Luckily tonight I did have plans to hang out with Charity and Tony. Charity was the dance teacher I had for like, two months =P Tony is one of her students who is a really great dancer and a contortionist too. I hang out with them almost every time I come home. She teaches contortion and loves hearing all the new info I learn about contortion and I"m more than happy to share it with her. They are both great people and are super fun to hang out with.

I Forget that Pool is Oddly Enjoyable

We met at the Starbucks/Coldstone/Quiznos triage du delicious and got some ice cream and sat around and chatted. After that we decided to go to the pool hall over in Binghamton. I hadn't been there in ages and all of said we were bad at pool so it would be a fair fight =P When we got there it was definitely one of those places that people go to over and over again. The guy looked at us like we were crazy and he didn't really help us through the process of "getting a table." It looked like he was watching us to see if we would figure it out haha. Weirdo. So we played three rounds of pool. It was quite humorous. Charity had a habit of hitting the balls of the table a few times and we all loved hitting the white ball into the pockets. haha. It was great.

Can't wait for next Tuesday and Thursday because Charity said she was going to be teaching a contortion workshop and invited me along to teach some stuff (I also volunteered because it would be fun). I'm so excited for it and can't wait to show some contortion stuff to them! I have a lot to share and they'll love it I"m sure =)

Penny for My Thoughts? Please?

cat
Lolz Cats iz kewl

Stuff happened. I was at home most of the day. Talked with Erin..I think it was yesterday but I'll talk about it here. She went and saw the apartment and liked it and the landladies but decided to wait on signing a lease until she decided on staying for the residency. Amanda decided the same thing too so she might not be moving down either right away. Very sad =( I hope it's not just Colleen and I down in MA cause that would be lonely, especially if people don't come to visit =..( But Amy and I have been talking and we're planning on having theme parties every once in a while. You know, nothing crazy, just a get together with music, food, games and movies based on a theme (with appropriate costumes too!) I know not many people will come all the way from Brattleboro but you never know ^_^

I also talked with Amy about helping design sets, narrative and costume ideas for a circus show. I was hoping to get some people together this year to develop a show that we could perform at a few places and I think Amy's art background would be rockin. She's really good at telling stories and I'm excited about the prospects. One idea I really want to work on is a show based on some ancient story from India and put some kind of twist on it and introduce circus into it. I'm also interested in doing a show with fairy tales from across the globe. I thought that'd be nifty ^_^

Also of note: While Erin was in MA she went to get a bicycle from some guy on craiglist. She said it was out in the middle of nowhere and uber creepy. There were a lot of mosquitos there which she was She was totally freaked out but did end up getting a bicycle. She said she'll never do that again! haha.

An Appointment Here, A Ken There

I Love Puzzles

Today was my Dad's first appointment at the hospital for some check up stuff. I drove him to Lourdes for some blood work first then we met up with my Mom for a few more appointments. The first place we went to actually had a table set up with a puzzle! That made me very excited. It was some sort of housing place in Italy and was kinda difficult because a lot of the colors were the same. I worked on it and got a large section of it done. This older guy came up to me when he was going in for his appointment and said "that better be done by the time I get out!" Oh, what an older person thing to say ^_^ I also got to listen to the front desk chic try to talk down some old lady on the phone who was talking about getting ahold of her doctor after hours. That front desk lady had the patience of a saint. Jeez.

I Always Wondered Where People Got These Things

After that we went to another appointment where, to my excitement, they had another puzzle! But this one sucked. It was large pieces so I thought it would be easy but it wasn't =/ I gave up on that one pretty quick. It was just a picture of a garden so nothing too great. When that was over I drove my Dad home and my Mom picked up some Margarita's enchiladas! Oh God that was delicious. Mmmm. We wanted to order it as we left the hospital but we didn't have their number so I texted all my local friends and Ken Holmes was the only one who actually texted me the number back. The majority of everyone else told me to find it myself and sent me 411 type numbers haha. That's cool though, I'll still be your friend if you did that ^^

Binghamton Mets Fireworks from Ken's Apartment

I was planning to stay in for the night but Ken IM'd me and asked if I wanted to hang out a little before 9 o'clock. I was already in my pajamas but I changed out and made it down there. I was a little scared of the neighbor hood for a second when I saw a bunch of crazy looking girls hanging out on a front porch but then *BOOM* fireworks went off and the girls screamed like...well...little girls. I got to Ken's place and he came down to let me in but he's a dumbass and got locked out haha. He screamed to his new girlfriend and she came down to let us in lol. Oh Ken.

Angela, Ken and Friend

Ken's place was actually really nice! It had nice floors and it was a one bedroom apartment all by himself. Oo la la. I met his girlfriend and she was super nice! Her name is Angela and she kind of reminded me of a mixture between Sarah Lemmon and Allison Pfeifer but totally not like them at all =P She was really smart and kind. Ken scored big time with this one haha. We watched the fireworks at first and they were really nice. Then we chatted and one of Ken's other friends came over. He was Ken's former coworker and was spending the night there. We talked about a lot of things then I had to take off. Ken is leaving for Cape Cod tomorrow but we're planning on getting together next week. Woot Ken.

Tired Already But Still Having Fun

PRAYING MANTIS STYLE! HUWAAA!

Day one with the father. Pretty taxing. Lots of walking around and peeing and eating. I woke up so early to start helping him. Unfortunately for me, his medication makes sure he doesn't get any sleep so he's up nice and early. Didn't do a whole lot during the day. Pretty much bored out of my mind. I played way too much WoW =/ Stretched some which was nice. My back still feels kinda weird but it's good enough to stretch my legs and hip flexors (it's all attached).

Asian Love with Tapioca

When my Mom got home I went and picked up Christopher from his Great Grandfathers. He is going to spend the rest of the week with Jack so I'm hanging out with him now. We were waiting to hear from Jack so I took him around Vestal for some excitement. We went to Bubble Tea. He had never had it before! Wowzers! He got banana flavored and I got almond flavored (my favorite!) There was this guy working there who was white! I was so upset because that means I could have worked there during college! Boo!

Such a Nice Target

Anyway, he was doing gymnasticey stuff outside and when we left Christopher tried to do a split leap but couldn't really. When we drove by him and his fellow employees outside Christopher put his foot around his head. Then he took one of my business cards and ran it over to them saying something about "leave it to the professionals." lol. The guy was like "oh a contortionist? jeez, I'm just a cheerleader." One of the girls loved it though. Then Christopher did a handstand and ran away. So strange lol.

If You Buy this For Me, I Will Not Be Angry

I then had a mission! To buy a kitchen timer! It was about time I decided to get one. Anyway, we went to Target because it's awesome. So many college students there and so much college stuff! It was overloaded with crap. I had to stop myself from looking at everything because I wanted to buy everything! Alas, I have no money =/ We walked around and enjoyed things. I found my dream kitchen timer. Awesome.

Stealthy

Christopher was hungry so I immediately went wherever he wanted for food. Joyous. We went through the taco bell drive through. It wasn't that much fun but the woman had a lot of trouble opening the drive through window. Christopher decided it was OK to reminisce with her about his McDonalds drive through window issues. How fun for me =P

Locked Window Girl!

Then off to the pet store we were! Cute dogs in the window! AAAHH I wanted to own them so badly. Then I petted the rabbits. I actually saw this guy that used to be in the gymnastics club at BU. I didn't recognize him because he didn't have head gear on that was screwed into his head. He decided one day that doing a back tuck on a ski slope would be great. Not so much.

How Cute

We then went to Coconuts where we saw BARACK OBAMA! It was only a cut out but fun! haha. I got to talk with Erin while I was there and I found out more about the rooming situation. She hasn't seen the place yet but she has an appointment to do so with Lee, our landlord. I hope she likes it!!!

I Thought About It...

Thankfully Jack called while we were there and we headed off to the University apartments. Got to see Jack and oddly met Bobby there as well. He was visiting his "friend" who I got to meet too. We all went to Jack's place and talked for a little bit. It was kind of awkward so Bobby and his friend left. We watched Jack's gymnastics video then I awkwardly left too. It was a great night.

OMG! Wow! Such an Honor!

So this blog was kind of lame, I agree. Full of stuff that was entertaining to me but probably not to you. I even have more pictures then I have stuff to say. That's probably a good thing. haha.
